SUMMARY
The Enrollment Associate is responsible for promoting Williston State College programs to undergraduate populations using various marketing, communication and retention strategies. This position leads and manages the recruitment efforts of the college; working collaboratively with the WSC Admission department, college administrators, faculty and students to ensure enrollment goals are met.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Coordinate and implement a comprehensive college recruitment plan that utilizes staff, faculty, student ambassadors, and alumni to effectively engage prospective students and their families.
? Manage faculty participation in outreach activities.
? Coordinate representation of academic programs in outreach activities and on-campus recruitment events.
? Collaborate with College Relations Department in development of quality marketing materials.
? Coordinate and manage the Student Ambassador program.
? Coordinate use of available and appropriate marketing materials.
? Coordinate and attend college fairs and high school visits as a representative of the College.
? Coordinate WSCs presence at community and regional events.
? Plan and organize on-campus recruitment events.
? Coordinate the Williston High School Outreach program.
? Make presentations to prospective students, their families and community.
? Implement and manage a communication program for high school counselors in the College service area to facilitate knowledge and understanding of programs and services available at WSC.
? Coordinate and conduct campus tours for prospective students and their families.
? Utilize current technology and various mediums in recruitment activities; ie, phone, web, e-mail, radio/TV, letter-writing, social networking, and print publications.
? Manage and maintain on-line and computerized student prospect system.
? Assist the Student Life Coordinator in planning and implementing the college orientation program.
? Assist the Student Life Coordinator in planning campus and community events.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
1. An associate’s degree and relevant experience.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present data clearly.
3. Must be team oriented, yet possess the ability to work independently
4. Ability to use computerized information/software relevant to the position; including, but not limited to, web, spreadsheets, word processing, presentation, & content management software.
5. Ability to travel throughout the WSC service area.
6. Occasional Saturday and evening projects.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES (DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS)
1. Experience in higher education.
2. Bachelor’s Degree.
3. Major in education, marketing, human relations, business, or related field.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
1. Contracted 12 month position
2. Proof of valid driver’s license required
3. Must agree to and sign employee code of conduct

SALARY

$27,000 – $35,000, dependent on experience.
